What Roommark is

A listing needs photographs before it goes live, and getting them is the part of the job agents most often call unreliable.

Roommark is the booking, payment and delivery layer for that one problem. You order and pay once; an independent photographer who runs their own business accepts the job or turns it down; the gallery comes back attached to the property address, so the next time you list it, everything is still there. We are not a photography studio and we do not employ photographers.

Every time on it is labelled by the light you get, because that is how a photographer thinks about a morning and it is what an agent is actually choosing between. Twilight is a second trip at the narrowest hour of the day, it books out first, and the screen says so rather than letting somebody find out.

What an agent gets back

Photographs come back the same evening, or the next business morning for afternoon shoots, with the photographer’s name on the gallery because the work is theirs. Any photograph that has been altered carries a disclosure label and keeps its unaltered original one tap away, as California law and the CRMLS rules require. No download or export path can strip either.

If you are the photographer

Roommark sends you work without taking over your business. Every offer states what it pays before you answer, you accept or decline with no penalty of any kind, you keep the copyright in your photographs, and you appear to the agent under your own name and brand.

Questions worth answering first

What does it cost, exactly?

Package prices depend on the size of the house, and every add-on is a flat, published amount. Travel beyond a photographer’s usual radius and a booking inside 24 hours each carry a stated fee. Nothing is quoted on request and nothing is added after the fact — the full itemised total is on screen before you pay.

When am I charged?

Once, at booking, for the whole amount. There is no subscription, no retainer and no per-listing membership.

What if I need to cancel?

Free to cancel up to 24 hours before. Inside 24 hours it is half the photographer's rate, and inside 4 hours it is all of it. That goes to the photographer, who cleared the time and turned other work away.

Who owns the photographs?

The photographer does. You get a broad licence to use them for the listing, the MLS, and your own marketing, including where a portal or a brokerage system republishes them. We never take ownership of somebody’s work as a condition of being paid for it.

Do you print anything?

No. Delivery is digital only — a gallery link you can share, and downloads from it. There are no prints, discs or drives.
